MEDIA Protocol: create intelligent URL through blockchain technology

Media Protocol is a type of computer network number 1 in blockchain technology. The functions contained in a computer network, such as sending messages, sending data, sending information and other functions that must be fulfilled by the sender and receiver so that communication can take place properly and true even though the system contained in the network is different.

A protocol is a set of rules governing the exchange or transmission of data between devices.

MEDIA Protocol is a set of rules that governs the flow of value between actors in the Marketing & Advertising industries.

MEDIA Protocol will be used to create an ecosystem that leverages the power of blockchain to bring transparency to the flow of value between users and the media.

Media Protocol has several types of protocols:

1. Ethernet Protocol

A commonly used protocol to date, the access method used by Ethernet is called CSMA / CD (Carrier Sense Multiple Access / Collision Detection). It is a system where each computer waits for instructions to traverse the cable before transmitting data or information through the network. If the network is not busy, then the computer will convey information or data. But if another node has conveyed the message over the cable, then the computer will wait and will try again after the route allows. Sometimes there are 2 computers that send messages simultaneously. If an event like this then there will be data collisions.

2. TCP / IP

TCP / IP or abbreviation of Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol, is a standard of data communications used by the Internet community in the process of exchanging data or information from one computer to another on the Internet. This type of protocol can not stand alone, because it is a protocol suite. This protocol is also the most widely used type of protocol today. The data is implemented into the form of software or software in the operating system. The term given to this software is the TCP / IP stack.

This protocol was developed in the late 1970s until the early 1980s as a standard protocol for connecting computers and networks in establishing a wide network of WAN networks in particular.

3. UDP

That is the abbreviation of the User Datagram Protocol, is one of the TCP / IP transport layer protocols that can support unreliable, unrelated communications between hosts in a network that uses TCP / IP.

4. RTP

It stands for Real Time Protocol, RTP is designed to provide end-to-end network transport functions for applications that transmit data in real time, such as audio and video data, via multicast network services or unicast services.

5. FTP

It stands for File Transfer Protocol, this type of protocol is often used to upload or download files, its security is based on the username and password, but sometimes anonymous login is also often allowed.

6. HTTP

That is the abbreviation of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol, this protocol is often used for the transfer of web pages, before many people who use the Gopher protocol. However, Gopher only supports text only, so the HTTP protocol over time evolves and is used by many people.

7. DHCP

It stands for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, if you get a Cable-connection using DHCP, it will get the IP from your ISP. So, this protocol serves to provide Internet Protocol (IP) automatically.

8. DNS

DNS stands for Domain Name System, is a distribute database system used in the search name of the computer (name resolution) in the network that uses TCP / IP. DNS can also be used in applications connected to Internet tricks, such as web browsers or e-mail, where DNS can help map host names from a computer to an IP address.

9. ICMP

ICMP (Internet Control Message Protocol), this ICMP protocol has a different purpose to TCP and UDP in that ICMP is not used directly by the user's network application.

10. IMAP

IMAP (Message Access Protocol), is a standard protocol for accessing or retrieving e-mail from server. IMAP allows users to select e-mail messages that they will capture, create a folder on the server, search for messages from certain e-mails, and delete existing e-mail messages.

11. HTTPS

HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) is a secure version of HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol), a communications protocol derived from WWW (World Wide Web). This protocol discovered by "Netscape Communications Corporation" is used to provide authentication as well as encrypted communications and usage in electrical commerciants.

12. SSH

That stands for "Success Shell", is a network protocol that allows the exchange of data securely between 2 computers. This protocol can be used to remotely control the computer, transmit files, create encrypted Tunnels and so on. This protocol has several advantages compared to similar protocols such as FTP, Telnet, Danrsh, because SSH has Authentication, Authorization, and also its own extraction system. Thus the security of a communication session through SSH assistance can become more secure.

13. SSL

SSL or the abbreviation of Secure Socket Layer, is a data security protocol used to maintain the delivery of web server data and also users of the website. The safest type of SSL can be seen from the SSL security level, which lies in the strength of the supported encryption (such as 256 bits). If the greater the level of encryption it will be more difficult to break into.

The MEDIA Protocol converts the content into an Intelligent URL that brands and publishers can publish with tokens. When you read or watch your favorite content, you get paid!

Be part of the economy

MEDIA Protocol is building a new type of internet where ordinary people can benefit from the big economy that controls the media and content you watch and read every day. We build one URL at a time.

Get involved in your internet

Every time you read an article or watch a video advertiser, agencies and social networks make money. You just get the contents. MEDIA Protocol enables you to be a part of this economy by allowing brands, publishers, and creators to directly reward you for consuming, liking, commenting on and sharing their content.

Get better content

There are artists, agencies, and brands out there who want to create great content - things that are very relevant to you. But sometimes it's not commercial. MEDIA Protocol gets you part of the economy - so you have the power to give immediate feedback to the people who create and promote your content.

Know your content!

When content is registered on the MEDIA Protocol Network, its URL becomes an Intelligent URL that can store and distribute tokens just like a crypto wallet. Everyone can see exactly how much money is being used to promote the content behind the Smart URL and how many people actually like the comments and share the content.

MEDIA Protocol in Action

CryptoCatnip is the first dApp that blends the MEDIA Protocol. It shows a content distribution model with exciting advantages to publish and consumers.

Download CrytpoCatnip to get a MEDIA Token while reading the latest crypto news.

MEDIA Tokens (MEDIA) is a means by which value is exchanged in the MEDIA Protocol - fuel system - and will be exchanged for fiat.

The current content monopoly held by centralized media owners and content distribution platforms is inefficient and unsustainable. Creators, publishers and consumers alike desire more control and transparency, to create, distribute and consume equitably, with no intermediary gatekeeper.

With MEDIA Protocol, there are no clandestine algorithms, intermediated relationships or centralized data hoarders. MEDIA Protocol allows for direct exchanges and interactions in a new economy, with incentives for each actor, for example, by creating a direct channel for publishers to promote content through consumption incentives, and for consumers to pay directly for paywalled content and reward favored content creators and publisherswith MEDIA Tokens.

MEDIA Protocol reciprocally incentivises the creation, distribution and consumption of content, with each actor possessing a greater degree of control and insight.
